Khanom Power Plant supports the 3rd Novice Ordination Program at Wat Than Thong, dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

On April 3–4, 2026, Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited participated in the novice ordination program “Novice ordination Class 3,” including the Pre-ordination head-shaving ceremony and the traditional foot-washing ceremony to ask forgiveness from parents.

The program was held as a royal merit-making tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, from April 1–16, 2026, at Wat Than Thong, Khanom Subdistrict, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

On this occasion, the company’s management and representatives attended to honor these significant rites, which reflect the Thai cultural value of gratitude, as participants seek parental blessings before entering the monkhood.

On April 3, 2026, the Pre-ordination head-shaving ceremony was presided over by the district chief, and on April 4, 2026, the novice ordination ceremony was held under the presidency of a House of Representatives for Nakhon Si Thammarat.
