Khanom Power Plant Sparks Youth Innovation for Community and Environment

Friday, June 12, 2026 Khanom Electricity Generating Co., Ltd. is partnering to spearhead the "Project to Success" youth initiative at the Khanom District Department of Learning Encouragement (DOLE), aiming to inspire sustainable community and environmental innovation.

Led by Chemical and Environmental Section Manager Mr.Surin Boonsaweang and Efficiency Control Section Manager, Mr. Pakornkit Karnjanarodt, a team of power plant experts and interns served as mentors to help local youth transform creative ideas into practical development projects. The training focused on two pressing local issues: waste management through innovative upcycling to reduce environmental impacts, and energy efficiency solutions designed to promote eco-friendly lifestyles.

According to Khanom Electricity Generating Co., Ltd., this educational outreach reflects the company's long-standing commitment to its surrounding communities.
