KEGCO Organizes Proactive Health Screening Activities under the Community Health Promotion Project for Moo 8, Thong Nian Subdistrict, 2026

On June 25, 2026, Khanom Electricity Generating Co., Ltd. (KEGCO), an EGCO Group company, collaborated with Village Health Volunteers (VHVs) of Moo 8, Thong Nian Subdistrict, and the Khanom District Public Health Office to organize activities under the Community Health Promotion Project for Moo 8, Thong Nian Subdistrict – Rapid Health Screening Program (Diabetes, Hypertension, and Cholesterol) 2026 at Ban Bang Phaeng Community, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

The program was organized to encourage local residents to access basic health screening services and to help them become aware of potential health risks at an early stage. Health screening services included blood pressure measurement, blood glucose testing for diabetes screening, cholesterol testing, and Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment to evaluate overall health conditions and risk factors associated with non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

The health data collected from the screenings will serve as a valuable community health database and will be shared with relevant public health agencies for follow-up care, health monitoring, and personalized health recommendations for individuals identified as being at risk. This proactive approach aims to reduce the likelihood of disease development and improve the overall quality of life of community members.

This initiative reflects the strong collaboration between the private sector, public health authorities, and the local community in promoting preventive healthcare and raising health awareness. It also reinforces KEGCO’s commitment to supporting community well-being and empowering residents to take better care of their own health and that of their families.
