Khanom Power Plant Welcomes Community Energy Network from Krabi Provincial Energy Office for Study Visit at Khanom Learning Center

On Friday, February 6, 2026, Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited welcomed participants from the Community Energy Network and the project on enhancing integrated energy management capacity at the sub-district level, organized by the Krabi Provincial Energy Office. The group visited Khanom Power Plant for a study tour and knowledge exchange.

During the visit, participants observed the electricity generation process and operations of Khanom Power Plant Unit 4, and learned about the company’s approaches to community engagement and environmental management—key factors in achieving sustainable coexistence with surrounding communities. The group also visited Khanom Power Plant Unit 1 (Khanom Learning Center), recognized as Thailand’s first floating power plant, where they explored the history of electricity generation and modern energy innovations through interactive learning exhibits.
