Khanom Power Plant, in collaboration with the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare Office, organized an event for National Labour Day 2025.

On April 30, 2025, Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited, in partnership with the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare Office, held an event for Nakhon Si Thammarat's National Labour Day 2025. The event, themed "Nakhon Workers: Creative, Sharing Kindness, Caring for the Environment," took place at the Khanom Power Plant Beach in Thong Nian, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

The objective of this event was to foster unity and strengthen good relationships among employer organizations, employee organizations, and labor networks in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. This year, a particular emphasis was placed on environmental conservation and waste reduction. The event also provided an opportunity for government agencies, the private sector, and the public in Nakhon Si Thammarat to participate in activities beneficial to nature and the environment.

The event featured a variety of activities, including an anti-drug pledge, a campaign to raise awareness about preventing work-related accidents, a donation drive for the Nakhon Si Thammarat Homeless Protection Center, a beach clean-up activity, exhibition booths from government and private agencies, visits to the Khanom Learning Center, recreational activities, and award presentations.

Mr. Kittipong Mungkung, Assistant Plant Manager of Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited, welcomed the participants and emphasized the company's commitment to being a model power plant for environmental preservation and sustainable coexistence with the community.

Mr. Suwat Chansuk, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, presided over the opening ceremony and highlighted the importance of laborers in driving the nation's economy.

Ms. Atchara Rongsawat, Head of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare Office, reported on the event's objectives and extended her gratitude to all sectors that collaborated in organizing this event.

The successful execution of this event was a result of the cooperation from all sectors, including employers, establishments, government agencies, state enterprises, and various organizations in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
