Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited Supports Aquatic Animal Release Project, Promoting Conservation, Biodiversity, and Income for Local Fishermen

On Friday, March 21, 2025, KEGCO, led by Ms. Ratree Mungkung,

Mrs.Ratree Mungkung, Corporate Affairs Division Manager, and team participated in the 2025 Aquatic Animal Release Project. The Khanom Fishery Association organized the event at the Khao Ok Conservation Tourism Group in Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Mr. Thitiwatchara Boonkij, Khanom District Chief, presided over the opening ceremony.

The project aimed to promote the conservation of local aquatic species, raise awareness about the importance of marine ecosystem biodiversity, and support sustainable livelihoods for fishermen in Khanom District, where fishing is a primary occupation.

KEGCO recognizes the significance of natural resources and environmental conservation. The company is delighted to support this project, which increases the number of aquatic animals in the sea and helps generate stable income for local fishermen.
