Khanom Power Plant organized a community development project, collaborating with government agencies to promote maternal and child health.

KEGCO, under the leadership of Mr. Nares Chookird, and Mr. Rachen Bunyapipat, Plant Manager, along with the executive team and employees, has partnered with local government organizations, Village Health Volunteers (VHVs) in Village 8, Khanom District Public Health Office, and Khanom Hospital to implement health promotion activities for residents of Bang Paeng Village, Village No.8, Khanom District.

These activities have been conducted on an ongoing basis and encompass a variety of formats, including workshops, seminars, distribution of informational materials, community outreach, and home visits. The aim is to provide education on personal hygiene, health maintenance, disease prevention, and overall quality of life.

A notable November 27, 2024 event involved conducting maternal and child health visits. These visits included comprehensive health education for mothers and children, covering prenatal care, postpartum care, and newborn care. Essential supplies were also provided to mothers to support their health and the well-being of their children.
